Rachel Obeakemhe Theophilus, Class of 2026
Rachel Obeakemhe Theophilus ’26 is a leader who brings intentional care and connection to every space she enters at the University of St. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½. As a resident advisor in Dowling Residence Hall, she mentors first-year students through pivotal moments of transition, creating a sense of belonging through everyday acts of presence, empathy, and encouragement. Rachel has also helped found the Black Christian Fellowship, ensuring students can fully express both their cultural identity and faith. Her academic path in business law and compliance reflects her passion for advocacy, fairness, and systems that serve the common good—interests she has further explored through internships and study abroad in London. Whether supporting her peers, building ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, or preparing for a future in law, Rachel leads with authenticity, purpose, and a deep commitment to helping others feel seen, valued, and empowered.
