Quick Tips for Incoming Employees

  • Your St. Ҵý Computer
  • Email & Office 365
  • File Storage & Back-Up
  • Printing
  • Your St. Ҵý Computer

St. Ҵý provides desktop and laptop computers to faculty and staff members. Your hiring manager will request a computer for you based on your needs.

    Email & Office 365

St. Ҵý uses Microsoft Office for our campus email (Outlook), file storage (OneDrive), and more. Office comes pre-installed on all St. Ҵý computers and is also available virtually through OneStҴý, our intranet.

    File Storage & Back-Up

St. Ҵý recommends using Office 365's file storage apps which can be accessed from any web browser. Editing Office 365 documents on your desktop automatically saves them to the cloud, and a backup of each file is created.

    Printing

Printing costs are automatically charged to your department. Your computer may already be connected to a nearby printer but instructions for printer set-up can be found in the technology help center.
